Reception

May 19th 6:30 - 9:30

Proctors Main Stage

2009 The NYS Geospatial Summit Evening Reception will be held on the Main Stage of the beautiful, newly renovated Proctor’s Theater in downtown Schenectady. Attendees had the opportunity to "go behind the scenes" on the main stage as well as mingle informally with the speakers and other attendees. Enjoy a variety of hors d'oeuvres, cooked-to-order pasta, and musical accompaniment provided by a local classical guitarist.

If your hope was to network or if you just wanted to catch up with GIS friends you made at last year summit, then this was the perfect opertunity to take advantage of this enjoyable cituation.

The reception was capped by a presentation from Dr. David Miller, who will speak on his adventures in a solo expedition down the Missouri River in his 17' long sea kayak following the trail of Lewis and Clark.
