Over the last several years, Monroe Community College (MCC) in Rochester, New York has been working to offer students accessible and affordable GIS education opportunities, including an online GIS Associates degree, an online GIS certificate, and an online GIS micro-credential. ESRI has recognized their efforts in an article highlighting MCC’s success in modernizing GIS education with a micro-credential to ensure workplace success for graduates.
