The NYS GIS Association Legislative Committee wants to make you aware of NYS Assembly Bill A00280 which has currently been referred to the Governmental Operations Committee. The bill primarily relates to the prohibition of drone use by NYS law enforcement entities for surveillance in situations that would normally require a search warrant unless said entities have acquired a search warrant.
